About Us
The Walker Area Food Shelf is a non-profit organization dedicated to assist individuals who are in need of food. We strive to preserve dignity, extend respect, and maintain confidentiality to all clients.
We also educate clients on other services for which they may qualify such as SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), NAPS (Supplemental Assistance Program for Seniors), and other social service programs.
