About Us

The community of Walker is committed to be dementia friendly through ongoing efforts to educate business owners, employees, community groups and individuals about dementia and to help them take action to create an environment that is safe, respectful and welcoming for people living with dementia. The training has helped Walker businesses heighten their awareness of dementia and be equipped to responds warmly and effectively when serving persons living with dementia and their care partners.
