Responsibilities: Perform scheduled inspections & maintenance on natural gas systems: Monthly & annual station inspections Odorant sniff tests Leak surveys Pipeline patrolling Valve & relief valve inspections Corrosion control inspections & surveys on buried & aboveground pipe Install & commission customer meter sets Install (or inspect contractor installation of) service lines, including performing heat fusion Perform utility locating in response to one-call tickets, and provide ticket responses
