Housekeeping Jobs at Adventure North Resort – Walker, MN

Adventure North Resort is a small lakeside resort located on Pine Point of Leech Lake near Walker, Minnesota, close to the Onigum community. Our property includes seven lake homes and cabins that are carefully prepared each week for visiting families and fishing guests.
Pay ranges from $17–$20 per hour depending on experience.  Spring workers also earn a $5 per hour bonus paid May 30.

We are looking for two to four reliable, detail-oriented cleaners who enjoy working efficiently and take pride in doing things well.

Our housekeeping teams follow an organized system that allows us to clean cabins efficiently while maintaining high standards for our guests.

Pay ranges from $17–$20 per hour depending on experience.  Spring workers also earn a $5 per hour bonus paid May 30.

Summer Saturday workers earn an additional $8.50 to $10 per hour bonus on Saturdays, with bonuses paid July 4 and September 5.

Spring Cabin Cleaning Schedule (March 30 – May 30)

During the spring we prepare cabins and buildings for the upcoming resort season.

Typical schedule:

3 days per week

Typical workday:

10:00 AM – approximately 4:30 PM

Breaks include:

• 30-minute sit down lunch prepared for the team
• Two - 10 minute breaks

Spring Bonus

Employees who work during the spring preparation period earn an additional:

$5 per hour bonus

This bonus is paid May 30 and applies to all hours worked between March 30 and May 30.

Summer Cabin Cleaning Schedule (May 30 – September 19)

Once the resort season begins, cleaning takes place on Saturdays when cabins turn over between guests.

Typical shift:

8:30 AM – approximately 4:30 or 5:00 PM

• 30-minute sit down lunch prepared for the team
• Morning and afternoon breaks

We work in small teams to clean smaller cabins and come together after lunch to finish the larger cabins.

Summer Saturday Cleaning Bonus

In addition to hourly pay, employees receive a Saturday cleaning bonus.

Bonus:

Summer Saturdays include a bonus equal to 50% of your hourly wage
(example: $8.50–$10 extra per hour)

Saturday bonuses are paid twice during the season:

• July 4
• September 5

Job Responsibilities

Our housekeeping team prepares cabins for incoming guests.

Tasks include:

• changing bed linens
• cleaning bathrooms
• cleaning kitchens
• vacuuming and mopping floors
• dusting surfaces
• restocking guest supplies

We ask that employees have reliable transportation to the resort near Walker, MN

All cleaning equipment and supplies are provided.  Training is provided so employees follow the same efficient cleaning system.

We work in small teams and come together to finish the day.

Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not required.

 

We are looking for motivated employees that work together in a friendly environment to provide exceptional customer service to resort guests.  We specialize in areas such as making beds while other housekeepers work on kitchens and bathrooms, and we all come together to help each other out.  We are looking for staff to maintain a safe, clean, sanitary, comfortable, and fun environment for resort guests and employees.

We will train all employees although previous experience and knowledge of customer service s is appreciated.
