The Friends of the Walker Public Library will host author William Kent Krueger as he shares his insights on "The Transformative Power of Stories" on Wednesday, June 12th at 6pm. Stories have helped interpret and shape our world for as long as language has existed. How does this integral part of the human experience affect our perspective and support understanding?
William Kent Krueger is the acclaimed author of the New York Times bestselling "Ordinary Grace", winner of the Edgar Award for best novel, as well as eighteen Cork O’Connor novels, including "Desolation Mountain" and "Sulfur Springs". Krueger's work has received a number of awards, including the Minnesota Book Award, the Loft-McKnight Fiction Award, the Anthony Award, the Barry Award, the Dilys Award, and the Friends of American Writers Prize. His last thirteen novels were all New York Times bestsellers.
