Bassmaster College Championship

The 2026 Strike King Bassmaster College Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops is coming to Walker, Minnesota, bringing some of the best collegiate bass anglers in the country to the legendary waters of Leech Lake.

From August 20–22, 2026, college fishing teams from across the United States will compete for the national championship title on one of Minnesota’s most iconic fisheries. This marks the first time the prestigious Bassmaster College Championship has ever been held on Leech Lake, making it a historic moment for our community.

Daily weigh-ins and tournament activity will take place at the Walker City Dock, giving spectators the chance to watch the excitement up close as anglers bring in their catches and compete for the national title.

Spectators are welcome to experience the excitement of tournament takeoffs, weigh-ins, and the energy that Bassmaster events bring to host communities. With anglers, families, and fishing fans visiting from around the country, this event will showcase the beauty, fishing tradition, and hospitality of the Leech Lake area.
